69 Chrysler 300, auto. What is the proper name or part # for the pin/rod on the carb that the throttle cable/transmission rod attach too? Needs to be approx 1.75". Thx

Also in the Holley and Edelbrock catalogs, too. Nut is same as on the normal items, IIRC.

Something is not right in your pictures. You have the proper stud already but someone has installed some sort of aluminum bushings on the stud and hooked up the kick down linkage and spring wrong. Remove the aluminum bushings and hook up the springs and linkage properly as shown in my picture . Your kickdown linkage goes on first, then a small washer , the small clip fits in the groove . Then your spring just hooks on the outer groove. Do this before you have a problem with your linkage. Easy fix, and cheaper than buying a brand new pin.

I have an Edelbrock intake manifold which is taller than stock and a modified throttle cable bracket (also taller than stock) which changed the geometry of the stock transmission rod to the transmission. The bushings keep the rod straight, otherwise the rod would bind up as it went aft.

If I might ask , What problem are you trying to fix with a new stud? Is your kick down not working properly?

The name is simply a carb stud according to Mopar. In '68 it's a 2806441, in '70 it's 3418900. I don't have a '69 parts book for some reason. These numbers are for an automatic, and not a hemi or 6 pack/barrel.
