Cars at Carslile: Please post photos here!

Not a one that I saw! Usually two or three... you should rent a 7 car hauler and have class of your own.

Only 2 67's and 2 68's. Imperial's were a no show...:(

Checkin in.
Home safe and sound in record time.
Beautiful day for a drive!

There was a report of ~ 2800 cars entered this year...did anyone see in passing any 72-73 Imperials in attendance? My recollection there was one dark blue 4 door last year. Thanks.

There was a '71 triple black coupe with it's original window sticker of $8,400. It was strangely parked by the 300 club, not the Imperials or c-bodies. Very nice condition, except for the window sweeps and the paint had some major swirls in the paint from an over-zealous polishing.

Just found this thread. I posted some car photos in the main Carlisle 2019 thread. Here are some more for this one. Let's start with a K-code (E85) W1 New Yorker:

This car belonged to the previous owner (a friend) of my 300. He sold it many years ago when he bought the 300. The GT stripes etc. were added by the present owner.

I saw it on Saturday and it is really looking quite sad. I've got some seat time driving and riding in that car.

-An old, original photo of that car at Carlisle. I took the photo. My wife's in the front seat, with our friend.

I didn't know she was in the car for that pic. LOL!!

I remember that pic being in Mopar Action(?) That car always ran great.

Everyone else, note the Purple Heart license plate.

i couldn't catch the plate on that '61 White Newport Long Roof, but a Car-Bud we call Spanky in Effingham used to own it. Spanky also haz among hiz toys a two tone blue New Yorker Long Roof that haz ah few of my partz on it too. And the world keepz gettin' smaller az it goez 'round. I see you had an opportunity to shake handz with the owner of that '60 300F white convertible too. Both those white carz I have ridden in and both make me drool and have for yearz, Jer

I was All over this Superbird. Just Covered in dirt and Racoon Sh*t&piss but still a beauty. I wonder if he will will ever clean it? Owner told me there is still a Racoon carcass in the trunk.
What's up with that? Is that supposed to add some sort of value to the display? I saw something similar a few years ago (might have been the same one) in the T building. Looked like someone dumped a whole bunch of extra crap on it for effect. I'm not a wing-thing fan by any stretch of the imagination, but that kind of display is downright disrespectful. I would venture to guess this was a Chebbie owner, but who knows.

I wonder if I brought all my scrap metal and two rusty cars if I would win 1st in Class for "Junk Yard Find"? The quarter on the 'vert even has the original "Yard" scrawled across in blue marker.
