I have a 69 Newport Convertible Sportgrain but unfortunately some idiot painted over the sport grain and swapped in a 300 grille. Its full of bondo in the rear quarters and the original HP 383 is gone (reg 383 in it). It is for sale runs and drives...

I thought so as well but this one is gonna be a lot of work and I’m not sure I’m up for it.
After one extreme restoration I am not sure I have another one in me, or have a family. That being said, I promised myself I would never shingle another roof about 4 times. Same with hanging, mudding and taping drywall. Give me a couple of years, I may find another car project.

I think the wood grain looks better on the hardtop as opposed to the convertible for some reason.

@Dobalovr, what was the original color? I can’t find a reference to F9.

Gorgeous car. Absolutely stunning. Takes your breath away. Love the wood-grain, sets off the white. Big block and A/C are a big plus in value. I really like how you have all the parts receipts to show what it had done. Other documents too of course. Two thumbs up.
