The 1957 Mercury Turnpike Cruiser was the Indianapolis 500 pace car in 1957. It is one of the most gadget laden cars ever built. Original pale pink and mauve metallic exterior. The engine is quiet and runs strong. Engine is 368 Turnpike Cruiser motor, automatic transmission and push button control shifts correctly. The speedometer, gauges, and warning lights, and tachometer are in working order. Solid original California car. No rust issues.

I like it. But I have no real idea about the market for these cars. $15K might be a fair price, or this could be a low-priced scam. The description of the car reads like a generic flipper to me.

Just a quick search and it looks like this one is priced on the low side with an average car in the mid $20K range.

Looking at the condition I'd say it's fair. Not sure what full size Fords and Mercs from that era bring.

I think almost any late-50s 2dr, esp a higher-priced model like htis one, will be worth that easily.
Sometimes the cheaper models are worth more, even.

There was a car similar FS on SF Craig’s list awhile back. Asking was about 15k.
Most likely the same car.
I would say that it’s pretty good deal at that price.
