Could you imagine for a moment what a new version of the 72-73 Imperial Lebaron body would look like if they brought it back to life in today's world with a modern twist like they have with other models...I would stretch the rearend more on this Caddie.

I can envision the modern front end, hidden headlights, air conditioning, etc...in my brain. Guess that's where it will stay....

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:Doesn't anybody think that would be a seller??anyone?? anyone??

There would only be demand from an extremely small segment of consumers (people like us for instance). People's tastes have changed (disppeared) in favor of Civics, Sentras, Priuses, or anything else that's entirely devoid of character and personality

There still is a large segment of people who want and NEED a full size vehicle. The only thing is that the market manufacture has shifted from America to Europe. Look at the Volvo S90, the MB S-Class and the BMW 7 Series.

Longwheel bass luxury cars are still here. I wouldn’t be surprised if with all the modern muscle finally coming back in Detroit - if they brought back other classes like luxury and full size lines too.

Has anyone seen the all new 2018 Lincoln lineup with the Continental and Navigator? Reviewers are saying they are miles ahead of their European competion in the same class - which because of the last 20 years of subpar American luxury cars, means a lot. I think it’s only a matter of time before the Pentastar has to step up and step in.

Unfortunately, Fiat has reduced Chrysler to only 2 models, the 300 and Pacifica. The original Pacifica didn't last that long and they brought back that model name and eliminated one of the longest running and recognizable nameplates, the Town and Country. I think if Chrysler wasn't in the corporate name Machione would eliminate the brand altogether. I don't think FCA will put much money into the Chrysler name. It is all about growing Fiat , Alfa-Romeo, Maserati and Jeep.

The 300,Charger and Challenger are all due for a new platform in a couple years. The RWD cars have been great.
