notice anything odd on this car?

Be more specific. ....The stripe is wrong and way off location. ...hood
. Yea, I was referring to the stripe, on the driver side it runs down to the bottom of the quarter, it's crooked across the trunk and then runs more forward towards the the rear wheel opening, and it's short to boot! Someone had a few too many adult beverages when installing it,lol

And no such thing as a 66 Coronet R/T.
The kinda car i'd just walk right by at a show!
Amateurs allright.

Another one of those "why bother" owner mods.
The stripe obviously isn't for that car. Then it isn't even centered on the car. Apparently they started from the drivers side and came up a bit short on the pass side.
I mean, you spend all the effort to de-chrome and repaint a car, but leave that stripe on the car?

If the stripe went on, the stripe an come off . . . just with more effort.

The Olds Cutlass hood stripes went across the rear of the hood. The Dodge stripes were just ahead of the tail lights. As if "They were so fast they almost didn't get the stripe installed." So, the Olds was too slow, the Dodges were too fast, BUT the pictured Dodge must have hit the brakes at the last moment, even sliding sideways a little from rear wheel lock-up?

As incorrect as the stripe might be for that car, it's still "in the family" and not something that came from an auto supply "adornment rack".
