Early Christmas present for a clock nut

I love watches. I purchased a Breitling Super Avenger for my 10 year work anniversary 5 years ago. I love this watch. It weighs a ton because it is completely mechanical, but I still wear it everywhere.

looks like this one...

I have four wind up clocks, two wall and one "Column" table top clock. A three weight "Coo-Coo" that dances, water flows and plays one of two songs on the hour. A no movement visible table electric clock for the '40's. A wind up alarm clock I have seen on Ebay for 2-300 and two 21" and a 32" Neon newer wall clocks. All three are car themed (Sinclair (2), Chrysler/Plymouth). As for watches I like Skagen. It has a medium sized face to not dig into my hand and a stainless steel band so it won't stink when I sweat. Plus they have a "Jewelers Clasp" so it is very durable.

I had some nice cuckoo clocks from Bavaria when I was stationed there.

My ex-wife took them.

Here is a picture of a Grandmother Clock that my Dad made back in the 1970's.
The movement was originally Swiss imported through St. Lucia but after a number of year it failed and he replaced it with a quartz movement
In the late 1980's he added shelves to make it more functional
He was quite the craftsman in woodworking
I took stewardship of it about 25 years ago
I hope that one day one of my kids will want it.

Interesting!! Horvath, check this out - 1690, Long Case clock from Richard Symonds, London UK... complete but disassembled in the 1980s by my father, who promptly passed away after doing so. Needing a restoration by a proper craftsman.

One of the earliest long case clocks known. For sale actually.
