Epic Whoops thread.

Blue gas can is Kerosene and the "sudsy" looking splash looks like Kerosene. Don't know what black cans are for. In anycase the guy is an idiot and if the flash of flame at the end is real, then he probably was awarded a Darwin Award.

Hate to admit this but I almost pulled this off myself. We were having a large family bbq and luckily my son noticed that the siding was starting to smoke. Combination of stupidity and too much booze.

Must be a club membership somewhere...
I'm a member as well but only a slight melting not a full on fire like this one.

Vinyl is Final as they say...
It’s actually quite amazing what happens to the vinyl in extreme heat conditions. There was a train derailment just west of Edmonton which resulted in a massive fire right near the highway. The house across the road was vinyl and the intense heat melted it off but it never burnt. They resided the house and you would never know.

Went fishing today and on arrival at the lake we found this. The guy that owned it was totally flustered and had no idea of what to do. Where we were they didn’t even have cell phone coverage. It turns out his buddy took the safety chain off and released the winch in a fairly steep incline. The pics tell the rest of the story.
He had the boat ramp blocked so we went to help him out. I simply creeped the trailer backwards while he was winching and we slowly got it up.
Funny thing is we finally got fishing and they actually returned at the same time as us about 2 1/2 hrs later and hadn’t landed any pickerel (walleye for you Americans). We on the other hand brought in 19 the biggest between 21 and 24inches.
I think they should have stayed home.
