SOLD Fan shroud

Looking for a fan shroud for my 68 Fury.
The 440 motor, radiator and fan are out of 74 New Yorker.

So you are looking for a shroud from any 400/440 74-78 C-body.

I guess so. Not sure if any earlier shrouds will fit... As long as the opening diameter and width is the same it should fit, right?

Nope. The mounting tabs for the shrouds on those radiators are unique.

Ok then I will have to take a look at the mounting tabs on the radiator. Who knows - maybe radiator was swapped...

Having both, I can measure both of them later today if need be.

I know nothing about a Formal and I recall seeing some shrouds being several inches " deep" between the radiator and engine. My Fusey is only a couple inches deep

Visually, without measuring, the Formal shrouds are deeper as you suspected.

I believe the formal also has a bigger radiator. There 28" the earlier c bodys biggest was 26" radiator

The 74-78 shroud is 7" deep vs. the correct shroud which is 3".
I measured the clearance and the 7" shroud will hit up against the engine.

You have to go to Plan B, a correct radiator.

Only if it's an original. The number embossed into the top tank will help identify the rad. In 66/67/68 there was also a 22" rad with a two piece metal shroud on A/C equipped cars.
