NOT MINE FB 1967 Imperial

, neat power options, pretty clean but mileage - to me, seats give it away - wear pattern indicates mileage might be a tad higher. something id wanna dig into/chat with seller a bit and see if if records exist/persuasive proof available to document ownership history. ( owners still alive? wheres it been kept, etc., ). this one might be whatcha see is whatcha get though. its clean so maybe after verifying you just pony up what seller wants if you can verify that stuff still works/up close all is as seems.

id still proudly spin it were i a buyer.still, as it sits it appears to be wery well cared for for being ~ 6O years old.

i saw that. and my reaction as a lurker was sort of "i'm ok with the price vs observed condition but it would be butt in seat before i'd pull the trigger". before all of that i have to understand if it spent its life in Kalispell and how id move it 2,500 miles to my warehouse. if i lacked a good plan for that, i'd call off the jam and lament the deal i couldn't close. one learns when to say when. location does give me pause as to distance from me and car's history in winter in Montana..

given im not a player, all things considered, its not one for me at any price/distance. i do like it, i have three in the fleet, but my age/hobby status would trump all else on any acquisition plan. under ordinary circumstances i could noodle something on logistics and evaluation if i really had to have it. it looks like a good one to check out (operation, sound, smell, etc.,) were i a player on it.

agree it would be good to highlight asking price/location in ad title here in case somebody here was serious about it.

I now love cars like this. I blame you guys.....

SHWING! The Advance Dealer Shipping Notice (ADSN) is included. Look at all the writing on there! This is not a common document and invaluable provenance for a car.

The question of mileage on this one, here are my thoughts.
The leather on these is the definition of premium and I think the driver’s seat may well indicate the 26k mile claim to be true. It’s definitely not 126k miles unless the primary driver weighed 90 lbs. and didn’t rest their heal on the rug while driving as there looks to be almost no wear in front of the gas pedal.
My silver car had about 136k miles when I bought it and the seat was worse off than this one although not vastly and there was a hole in the rug and the padding in front of the gas pedal that went clear to the sheet metal floor pan.
My Mobile Director is a legit 40k mile car and the interior looks very much like this one.

This car is drop dead gorgeous and IS the way you want to buy one of these.

You raise good points,chief

a car this old with 26k miles defies credulity but i agree that it aint 126k. also a snow belt car concerns me. My only point is it is an element Id wanna investigate if i were a buyer. not a showstopper unless something dont hang togethter with the car in aggregate. price dont frighten me as an ask. i could get there all things in order on it.

alas my best collector days are behind me as i age/retirement looms/have loads of unfinished stuff in the barn.

it certainly presents well and i hope a serious buyer emerges. to find one in this apparent shape is certainly a pleasant rarity.
