Is it an original CHP car? The car has the white steering wheel, but I would really like to see some documentation that its a real cop car. That light bar has to go, and thats gonna take a lot to get it back and going again cosmetic wise. At least the engine is “done” and “runs”, but I would go through it anyway just in case. It should hopefully be rot free, obviously besides any surface rust from the sun since its in California. I don’t like the description the seller rights, its VERY vague and in my opinion the car is worth a little less than $4,000.

Thank you for posting those numbers -- though I am not on FB and cannot see the build sheet of DK41N1D202742

The build sheet is a video so it is not easy to post.
I am not familiar with how to transfer a fakebook video onto the media platform here.
Anyone know how to get that video on here?

The build sheet does say "Of Califm a" on the bottom. Other words as well but don't have time to decipher at the moment.

Looks real to me. fairly complete, imminently saveable, though pricey (interior and body) depending on degree of resto desisired. Hope it finds a good home.

I also am NOT on faceplant. Price, at a glance, does NOT offend me. Is there any writendocumentation as to its duty service . Without that stuff, I get less exciited about these vintage cop rigs.

Id say the price is pretty decent for a complete BB cop car with the numbers drivetrain & not one with the earth.

Agreed - POS 4dr civvy cars with 360 or 383-2 are often priced in this ballpark.

For searchability - DK41N1D202742
Asking price is $4000, listing is still up.
Took some snips from the video. Not simple to pause and be in focus, don't know if I got it all, but there it is.
