Hi, Dale: Thank yo, thank you for your posting and query. The fender tag is from a 1966 Chrysler 300 4-door hardtop. I hope you have the 4DHT instead of a convertible--or in addition to the convertible. I'm working on adding 1966 MoPars to my combo VIN & Fender Tag/Body Data Plate decoder, have processed your data and need your help. My preliminary report is attached and I'm asking you to confirm the decoded data or point out errors. I have not loaded Trim or Paint codes yet but believe the TRM code M4W stands for white vinyl seat covers and interior--and that the PAINT code WP2 stands for a Persian White lower body color with a Scorch Red top-as two-tone styling. You will note that I am stumped on several items. Please advise if any of the options listed match your car: e9: possibly front-mounted antenna, front disc brakes, tilt and telescope steering wheel, or undercoating and under-hood pad. E3: Bumper guards F&R, headrests L&R, deck lid release. There are other possibilities if these don't match options on the car. Please advise if either or both of the bucket seats are powered. I have estimated the first seven characters of this car's VIN. It it is truly a 300 convertible, the VIN would begin with CM27G63. Forward Looking to working with you to improve my decoder and assist you in knowing more about your car(s). Other readers are encouraged to chime in with their knowledge and curiosity. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and others to advance the art and science of tag decoding. Please post or send me pics of fender tags of any '66 Chrysler or Imperial. VIN's help to complete the report but are not critical to decoding the Fender Tags. My decoder can process some '66 Dodge & Plymouth data at this point. Have a great weekend.
