Hi all and a happy Easter,

My Fury is all done now and registered/ licenced for use on the road here in the UK. Took her out for a drive and a coffee a few days ago and thought I would share some pictures with you all. She ran well but not quite right so I have advanced the initial timing to 14 deg BTDC (total 34). Its all in at 2000rpm which I think is a tad early so may have to put one or two slightly heavier springs in the dizzy.....see how she runs over the next few weeks. Cleaned the metering rods and leaned the idle mix a little.....pulls nicely now.

Cheers Steve

Since taking the pictures, a nice set of pressed US style plates arrived for her. The last US owner (Jim) is from Pleasant Valley, NY so thought I would have it added to the plates. I'm in touch with Jim and he likes it though he has told me off for not putting the mint set of original hubcaps back on. They don't look great with white letter tyres but would look fantastic with some white lines for the stock look....

Cheers Steve

Sounds great, but it really does need the wheel covers, white walls would help a lot to. Congradulations on getting her up and running.

Yeah but for some reason, they just don't look right with the letters......great with whitelines though. Funds wont stretch to a set at the moment as they are quite expensive over here...

Interior shot....don't know how that ended up there!! OOPS

Love the car! Paint looks great. Those original wheel covers are sweet! I agree, though, if you are running letters - go with poverties....

The Admiral, my 69 Custom suburban came to me with a set of those white letter cooper's and dog dish caps. Looked disrespectful.
I found a set of the correct wheel covers and turned the tires black side out....... Perfect...!

Thanks for the advice men....appreciate all your views and comments as always....

Don't know if this link will work, but here is my build thread on our club site (The Mopar Muscle Association). Ignore the title, I thought it was a Sport Fury till I did some digging. She is a III. I cant correct it for some reason......
