Small puddles on either side of floor a few inches in front of the door and a couple inches inboard of the kick panels. Ideas from fuselage owners? Door seals were leaking before but I fixed that by installing an extra seal around the door opening. Thank you.

I have found often on the fuselages that the pinch welded joint on the firewall is the culprit. Once the water drains from the center cowl drain it flows on to the pinch weld. Repeat 1000 X's, it will find it's way in.

Has the windshield ever been out? While it looked ok installed, once I removed my windshield, I found a few holes in the window channel from rot. And my car was from a dry area, so it can easily happen.

Also, the windshield and rear window openings on the fuselage cars were notorious for being larger than the glass, which often resulted in leaks down the road.

Start with the cowl drain, little rubber flap in the center of firewall behind the air cleaner. Remove upper screen at wiper arms to clear dirt and check for rust.

I had the same problem on a 73. Ended up being a bunch of crap down near the vents in the kick panels. Take off the kick panels and the vent doors and put your hand in there and feel for leaves and gunk in there.

i cheeped out when I did my door panels, and did not liner the door frames with plastic sheet myself. and after a rainstorm I have water in the same areas you describe. my current thought is, that, it is getting into the door @ the window glass and running down. have not removed my panels to look for water trace yet,, just a guess on where it is coming from.

I just added a fresh air vent to the passenger side of my 71. The very area you speak of was full of stuff, probably from a critter...but no mouse poo. I had washed the car the day before and the "stuff" was still wet. Its a bad area that likes to rot out

I had a 70 Super Bee that sat for awhile and had body work done. Went for a drive and opened the driver vent around 40 mph and got blasted with dirt, sand, and who knows what.

Great timing. I have had quite a bit of water coming into both front floor pans of my '72 Monaco Wagon. So far I have removed all the covers and vents and cleaned everything out. I have sprayed water until nothing but clean water comes out. After putting the vents back in I am still getting a dribble from the seam right in front of where the fresh air vents are bolted up. On my car the factory or dealership installed a good amount of "Dum Dum" on each side. I've cleaned it off to pinpoint the source of the leak and it is the same on both sides. I am hoping some new dum dum pressed into this area will make it watertight.

My question is who sells this dum dum? The stuff I use to have was in a brink. You pulled off what you needed and formed it like putty. I was looking on line and I only see it as a rope seal now?
