Going to see 300 cars Saturday Slabs, A's, Fuzzie's, trucks

This Cadillac is his best derby car. Says it will start up right now and run a derby but he can't get any of the derby comps to allow him to use it again. It has competed in at least 5 derbies as he said. That's why it has a space inside.

Thanks for the trip through the yard, I see what you're saying about the rust, or lack of it, on those cars.

I have zero idea about the cordoba aside from it has been inside for a while and it's blue.

Not sure which is a 60 imperial. Would that be the black lebaron? I thought it was a 59.

The sand rail is pretty cool.

The fella and his children are derby folks. Anything and everything could be put in a derby.
And they are from Kansas so they can make anything run. I have been thoroughly impressed with the sand people's ability to take something that hasn't ran in 50 years and have it on the road in a few hours.
Maybe there is something worth saving?

I have my eye on the charger as it's fairly good metal.
The two A bodies should be swept up.
Obviously I like the 69 fury just as I am always looking for a sport fury gt and this might have one part on it that can be saved.

Lots of trucks.

Used to love the derby back in high school days at the county fair and Ive owned 3 caddies in my day. First one at 17 and was a tire melter!

I just scrolled back through , looks like I might have bumped a negative icon again, my eyes sometimes dont catch my fingers mistakes. I grew up driving with no fear, there for causing me to derby a few of my own. My worst lose was 1972 fury gran coupe that rolled twice trying to take a 25 mph of ramp at 70. Me and 2 buddies survived, actually drove, car came back on 4 wheels, to cemetary down the road, parked it and walked home so we could finish drinkin. Only young and dumb once.
