Hello! Just yesterday my husband and I passed a 66 Newport for sale on the side of the road, about 45 minutes from home. On our way back, we stopped to take a look. I am now the second owner of a pretty decent condition survivor! Planned? Nope. Just simply fell in love- lol! Sooo excited to start this project- and I read about this site from a comment where it was mentioned on FB. I’m sure it will prove extremely helpful and interesting along the way. We will be picking her up tomorrow evening. I will share some pics when possible. The parts list is already started and we’re shooting to have her road safe for a small local show next month. This is gonna be GOOOOD! Thanks for the add!

Welcome to the forum.
I am in Central Jersey and am scrapping two 1966 Newport Town & Country wagons that are beyond any kind of restoration. Many of the parts are compatible with the two and 4 door Newport sedans. Give a holler if you need anything. I might have it.

Glad to see someone else on the east coast with a "66 Newport based model. Everyone else I have made contact with is either on the west coast, upper midwest, or Canada.
