Would a '67 Newport have a headlight buzzer? If so where would it be located and where is it on the wiring diagram? I have the FSM but don't see it in the diagram....I am sure I have missed it...

I plan in making my own. You can find bunch of plans with a google search

Why? You may as well install a voice track of the worlds most annoying noise Jim Carey Dumb and Dumber.Lol

I tend to forget my lights are on after a drive in the rain

Park the car nosed-in against a wall, then you can see them "on". The factory buzzers didn't start until about '72 model year, as I recall. GM used to have an accessory kit to do it, in the '80s, looked pretty simple to install.

Just some thoughts,

The Headlamp Warning Buzzer started in the 1969 model year. If you want to use original parts, look for a car that has the option code A01 on the data tag.

Hear is what the actual buzzer looks like.
