Have owned a 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury 2DR HT for the past 28 years. Interior was almost immaculate (and original) as was the vinyl roof. It was my pride and joy until some 70 year old witch drove into me head on in July 2015 and totaled my car. Have since picked up a 65 Sport Fury Convertible but it is a near basket case. Needing lots of help and general guidance for my first complete restoration. I'm no spring chicken and being retired now, time is the one thing I have a ton of. While I've browsed these types of forums in the past, I've never signed up until now. Would like to find some Fury buddies in Ontario to exchange ideas with and get sources for parts starting with a floor pan source and a spot nearby to get some re-chroming done at.

This "was" my Fury. May it R.I.P.

Ugh... what a way to say hello.

Welcome.... was a nice car!

And your street was developed in the mid to late 60's.

Sorry you fell victim to such an incompitent old *****. That Fury was clean! Fortunately you've chosen to sign up on a great sight that's blessed with members who know what's up with these cars. Welcome!

Welcome! Shame to hear that such a nice car was totalled.

Welcome to the site. I can't help much with Fury support but I am in Burlington and would love to see your new project some time. Cheers, Mike

Hello from London, Ontario and welcome. I also have a 65 that I've completely disassembled and reassembled but I have never had the unfortunate situation that you have. Here's a pic of my car.HPIM3698.jpg

Hello from Ottawa,Ontario. If you are looking for parts try National Moparts in Beaverton,Ontario

Ken

X2 for National Moparts and Nigel is a C-body guy.

Did you get to keep the salvage from your old car? You might have been able to unbolt the complete front subframe and roll another one in with a new front clip.

Such a shame. Good luck on the new build if you need anything out west here let me know. I'd be happy to check it out for you in person.

Yes, I did buy back the wreck from the insurance company. My original plan was to find donor car and put in new frame. I didn't even need the entire front clip as the right fender was fine. Needed hood, driver fender , bumper, rad support and grille. When I couldn't find a donor car within a reasonable distance, I found this convertible and I figured I could bring it back to life with the immaculate interior of the wreck. Since then I figured out the back seats are not interchangeable. The wreck is still salvageable and I have not taken any parts off it yet. The insurance company said they would NOT report it as a totaled car so anything is possible.
