That is exactly what my friend did. They wouldn't allow a 250 truck or larger parked outside. He ended up parking it at his mom's 10 minutes away and bought this piece of crap rusted out car to drive back and forth.

This was a city and not a HOA, the police said sorry, but they only enforce the rule if a neighbor complains, they think it is a srupid law too. When the car broke down about a year later, he had the car towed and left his now 1 year old truck in his drive. He never got another visit from the police, and ended up junking the car. He ended up winning!

I understand they want the neighborhood to look a certain way but damn!
