Hello everyone . I'm new to the site but have been on a few others for a while now .

Picked up a '69 Fury III convertible a couple of years ago . Slowly collecting parts for it . She's a little rough but I like the colors . I had a hardtop a long time ago & miss it .
As you can see in the last pic it needs rear rails , trunk floor & gas tank .

Welcome aboard! It looks like you have one heck of a project started. Does it run?

Thanks!!!

No motor is out & at the machine shop . Going to start back on it the next few weeks . I stopped by on Saturday to get the ball rolling again . It's a numbers matching 383 2bbl car . I was thinking of using one of those Thumper cams .

I want to try to get the rear metal in the next few weeks . I'll be at Carlisle & the Ohio in August . I figure I could save a littel on shipping & pick it up at the show . I'm going out in my '85 Crew cab & my buddy Mopar Tom will be at both with his trailer .

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! Looks like a real lifetime rustbelt warrior you have there! Great color combo, will be sweet when done. Best of luck with the resto and I look forward to watching the progress.

Sweet! B7 blue with a white interior, I personally love that combination. Looks like you have your work cut out, keep us posted on its progression.

Welcome to the board.......

Thanks!!!

Great! See you at Carlisle.

Thanks everyone .

It's going to be a good job . Lived it's life in South Jersey . When I went to look at it the trunk was filthy , cleaning it out found out the floor was paneling .

I ilke the colors too . That's why it's still around . That & it was built on my Birthday .

This is going to be a long slow one done in stages . I'll keep you updated .

See you in Carlisle .

381 Alexander Ave, Howell, NJ off route 9 . It was south of 195 . Drove up 9 to get it home .

As far as the A/C , got caught in a rain shower in my challenger coming back from the Mopar Nats . Sweated my butt off even with the back window unzipped .

Thats what I mean, thats North to us folks, central Jersey at best.

I hope you save that one, looks like it was a great looking car and could be again with plenty of TLC.

OK , From queens it's south .HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!

That's the plan . A nice driver , in stages .
1st stage is to do the rot , drivetrain , mechanical , top & interior .
2nd stage - drive the wheels off it .
3rd stage paint & body as money permits .

Anyone know where I can get the rear frame , floors & possibly the quarters ? Does anyone know if I can use the frame & floors from something else ? I have access to a 300 convert parts car .

What I meant was thats your best bet, if you have access to one or know of one instead of searching for individual parts.

What year 300? If a Fusey, the floors will work, the rear frame rails I do believe will work.

OK I got you .

The 300 is a '69 or '70 . I was thinking the same thing . similar year should work . The frame caps I looked at were for all c bodies not just fury . Same with the repop floors . I was thinking 69-73 c should work .

I have to look for parts . I don't have the room for a whole car . The 300 is at a friends house , he bought it to fix up & changed his mind . So I can cut it up there & he'll get rid of the rest .

Look forward to updates on it.
