Hubcap Question (Imperial)

A friend of mine bought alot of Imperialparts in a package.
He find 4 Hubcaps, design for Imperials 70-75.

But nobody knows anything about the blue decal with the sign "Town sedan"

Any idea?

That's a '74 Imperial wheel cover with a decal over a stamped Imperial crest.
And a pretty ucky looking one at that.
99% chance, a dealer, or a region of dealers blinged some Imps out and called it a Town Sedan to pad the profit margin....

I agree,just an add on. flip it upside down and the bird will be formed into the pie all by itself. Never seen a stickered pieplate on an Imp.

I dont think so, look at the pic, it is the backsite.
