Put another 1000 kms on the Ram yesterday to rescue another orphan, I will eventually restore this one back to its in-service condition when it was a cruiser for Windsor Police.

Anyway, here's my new 85 Caravelle police package, Car #591.

I have the same affliction! I hope the front frame rails are good...a bad spot on these. Looks like you'll need an UCA on the driver's side. The FMJ cars are prone to rust out on the UCA and then they will pretzel in a turn...ask me how I know!

I agree, this is one affliction that I'm not ashamed to say I have.. I also enjoy the support group meetings we have in Carlisle each year.

My friends boss is trying to talk me into storing it in the barn with my convertible.

I've been in contact with Windsor Police Service, and I'm happy to say they are being co-operative with the restoration, the current fleet manager is digging me up some pictures and information.

Mine was originally a Marked car, the one in the photo is #560, mine is #591, I found where the holes are in the roof for the antenna and lightbar power wire, the doors and roof show evidence of being white.
