Imperial 73 - US embassy in Poland

A few days ago I came across a photo from the 1970s, more precisely from 1977 - Poland
Visit of US Ambassador Richard Davis to the Polish museum in Warka.
In the photo Imperial 73 from the US Embassy in Poland!!!
Noteworthy is the lack of a side mirror, additional lamps at the front, and a flag mount.

Embassies often sold cars to Poles who used them, for example, as taxis, replacing the engines with Mercedes diesel ones. Perhaps somewhere in Poland there is a wreck of this car hidden in a barn or garage

Great picture! Is there any significance to the emblem on the grille? Looks like it might be the letters "CG"?

Now you have the job of tracking down that Imperial. Looks like it has a light coloured interior.

Usually they use CD or CC for embassy cars. Corps Diplomat or Corps Consulare
