Intake valley pan

Changing the intake gaskets/ valley pan on my '69 300, 440.
The rear of the valley pan had this steel bar over it but the front doesnt. Is that right or should the front have one also?

Yes, there should be one on both ends.

Don't forget it has to be 440/413 and not for a 383/400
