Found on facebook, looks like a b5 car and it has a sunroof..
I really think someone on this board should go after it and try
to rescue it before it rots away while waiting for the owner to
bring it back on the road ..

"Staying at a cabin in South Dakota was chatting it up with the owner and he shows me this. 73 Chrysler imperial land yacht. He's gonna get it back on the road someday .."

That´s the link to that guy´s facebook account, if you want to contact him

Those sunroof cars must be extremely rare, only other one - red with white roof if I recall correctly - that I've heard about is the Detroit motor show car in Murray Park's yard, apparently being gradually paid off.

Hope the owner's willing to sell this blue/white car.

just to make it sure.. the facebook account seems to be the guy who discovered the car at the cabin´s owners place
where he stayed over night. so it´s not the imp-owners account

Made contact with Tim...nice guy who is passing my (our) collective interest along to owner who wants to fix it up someday. Apparently owner not a Mopar guy like we would hope so I offered my phone number to help stream more info. Tim is staying at a cabin where the owner has Imperial stored outside at his shop.

Following up on this one since last night, it's not far from me.
Wonder if Tim is sorry he posted on FB...probably getting blasted with requests about it while he's vacationing...could imagine his wife yelling at him to put his phone down.

I hope the floorboards arent touching the ground. If they are, toastada.

Do I spy one of those "as-is" disclaimers in the rear window here?

QUOTE]

Even if the floorboards aren't touching the ground, the car will still absorb moisture from the ground. After not too long, the car will be destroyed. . .
