Just My Luck

I've had several newer DC trucks. My best mpg has been 20 mpg out my 04 Ram on the highway and that driving at 62 mph on completely flat roads and no head winds. My 90 Dakota has the gotten the same on the highway with the TBI 3.9L V6, A500 trans, and 3.90.1 gears on 215/75/15 tires.

I get an easy 18mpg out of my 84 4wd cummins crewcab...and this is with 70% in town, and 30% Hwy....straight hwy I will see 22-24mpg easy. And this is a big heavy real steel truck...close to 7K lbs.

My wifes 02 Chrysler Concorde has been a decent car. Crappy mileage in town, but straight Hwy it will get 30 mpg! And we bougth the car in 07 with 225K Km's on it. Had to do the tranny within a year, but I paid so little for the car that we were still ahead. But it's getting near it's life expectancy...wife wants a new'er car this coming year I think.
