I'll talk to anyone who approaches me and wants to talk about Goldie, but I love the pure reaction of the young ones who have never seen anything like our cbodies.

This is a picture of my cousin's boy who saw my car and said "sit??" Of course he can.

Over the years my favorite comments have been from kids with genuine interest in my car. My last was a stop at a traffic light where a group of kids where playing in the yard, all under 9. I had a barrage of questions and comments. The oldest asked where did it come from is it old? I said yes it is very old. A girl of around 7 asked immediate it was from the 80s? I said it was actually from the 60s. I don't think her mind could even comprehend.

What are some of the comments you guys have heard over the years? My favorite was from a young girl who asked me "why is your car soooo looooog but only has 2 doors?"

Kids and women alike usually say "It's sooo big."

I recently picked up an 87 Fifth Ave though and for some reason young people LOVE that car. Especially when they see the tufted leather interior.

A couple of funny ones (not kid comments):

I was at a traffic light taking a left. Traffic from the right had the green to go cross in front of me. A guy stops (with cars behind him), puts his window down and points at the car and says loudly "That's the best f**kin car I ever had!" Thumbs up and drives off..

At a gas station last year, an older gal is looking the Newport up and down.. "What year is it?" I ask her to guess.. She says she doesn't know but guesses mid 60s. I tell her it's a 65. She says, "I had a lot of fun in the back of those cars when I was young.."
Yowza.. We had a good laugh.
