My flasher was behaving erratically when I turned on the signals: half the time it wouldn't flash, sometimes very slowly, sometimes worked fine. So I figured I'd buy an LED flasher so that I wouldn't have to worry about that stuff. I bought a CEC industries one. I tried it, no flashy at all, wouldn't try on anything. I tried switching polarities (making two jumper wires) , still no flashy. Did I buy the wrong one or something? Which one do I need to buy? Thanks , oh the original one said TUNG-SOL 323

I'm guessing that you hooked up the ground wire for the LED flasher?

I've had multiple issues with those CEC electronic flashers. Some work fine and others not at all, and some seem to be very picky about what kind of bulbs you are using. They are also sold under the Napa brand.

I would try another flasher.

I was kind of thinking maybe using the bolt I used to ground it on wasn't a good bolt? I can buy another one sure. The bulbs themselves are not actually LED's (yet), but it doesn't matter does it ? I figured it wouldn't.

I got it working! A little advice: DONT use one of the two bolts holding the plate for the flasher as a ground; It's not actually connected to the chassis. I used a bolt from the steering column and that's what made it work! Also, I DID have to reverse the polarity with two jumper wires and spade connectors
