Dad and one of my brothers worked in Highland Park when Lido came on board. Dad and most of his team took early retirement a year and a half later. All 55 or older. Best move Dad made was take the offer and go contract for the next 12 years.
At a presser in the Styling Dome for either the K cars or Minivans my brother stands right next to Iaccoca. Brother elbows his buddy and asks “who’s this guy with the stogie?”
