Good Afternoon All
If anyone there has an older air filter catalog, I'm looking for some dimensional data.
Wix used to produce an air filter (Part Number 42042). This was an oval filter which was used in the late 50's on dual AFB 4 bbl V8's. Otehr part #s are: Fram: CA163PL/AC:A84C/Purolator: AFP15/ K&N: E1959.
Apparently none of these filter are in production anymore. Wix, however, does produce a oval filter under Part# 42030. What I would like to know are the ID and OD of the 42042 filter. The one in production (42030) is about 1" taller.

Thanks for the replies and the specs, and the link to Fleet Filter.
Perhaps I was not clear in my initial request. What I am trying to determine is the specs (ID/OD) of the discontinued 42042 or any of the filters that were mentioned in the initial post. If the 42030 and the 42042 are the same (ID/OD) with the difference being the height, that would answer my question.
