I think that AMX may be an authentic factory super-stocker because of that very rare dual-quad cross-ram intake which is a one-year-only factory racecar piece from '69.

Good job! Yes, it was a Hurst built AMX Super Stock, super rare 1 of 52 with a 390 4 speed. No sale.

I think about everyone has had something that they shouldn't have sold. Here is the bright side, just think of all that you should have bought! :)

oh sure make it worse....actually me selling the car when l did probably saved it...was way outa my league when l bought it...hell didn't even know sparkplugs hada be gapped at that time..did my first tranny change by myself in a hotel parking lot Cpl weeks after l bought it...talk about a learning curve...

I had a '69 Super Bee that I bought for $900. I paid half and my nana paid for the other. Found it while looking for a girls house that I was interested in and there it was, sitting under a tree. I bought it from the first owner. It had 112K miles on it with a 383/727 bench seat, red ex, black interior with leather inserts and the gator vinyl top. It has the N96 option.

That Super Bee sheet metal sure brings back 1986 all over again. I kept a big spring out of the trans when I had it rebuilt with a 2,000 stall B & M shift kit. I also have one of the original keys. I was still quite innocent then. That was a great Summer. Phil Collins, Steve Winwood and Anita Baker were ruling the airwaves then. I was in love for the first time with a really sweet girl named Kirsten. Her dad's side of the family was from Norway. Boy, could she kiss.

Haha. 30 years ago. Where does time go? Yeah, Miami vice was cool, saw ZZ Top, Van Halen and REO...Great times for sure.

Ya, that seems like a whole nother lifetime ago.
Btw, I found a guy who has some back window stainless I need. He wants $150 for it, and $50 for the rear package tray, $75 for the black and chrome hood ornament(no engine size) and $20. for the lower front fender pentastar. Do any of these prices seem high? Should I barter with him? I tried to barter with some douchebag at an out-of-state gun/pawn store on a Remington shotgun and he said the price was not negotiable and he wanted to charge me $50. to ship($15 to him for his effort). I said "no way". What do you think about this guys prices?

Sounds a little high, but locating the right part can be tough. On the flip side, when you try to sell parts, especially something not in high demand, the buyers are few. And they always offer less. So I would make a package deal & get a fair price. There was a junkyard, Mostly Mopar over in Indiana, Mike Zeller's IIRC, that I've been at. It's been sometime, but he would be a good start as well.

What are the parts for, and are they NOS or used ?
