I'm thinking of doing a 4 speed swap on my 69 Plymouth fury 3, right now it had a 318 and a727 but id like to replace the trans with a a833. I don't know what's all involved in the swap or what parts I'd need so I'm looking to get and idea of what im up against

WHY ?!? The car (with its 318) would probably run and perform better with the automatic - especially since its a 727.

Does any one know where this car went?

No Rip, No,
Automatics are for girls and drag racing.:poke:

Dave: I used to think that too, until I saw a couple of '62 413 Plymouths with Torque-Flite automatics put ALL the four-speed 409 Chevys and 421 Pontiacs on the trailer at Aquasco Drag Strip back in '62. I think it was that experience that turned me into a MOPAR maniac. . .
