Master Cylinder Mystery

Pulled the car from storage today and the rear reservoir was empty again...same thing last year. It doesn't lose a drop all summer, just when in storage. Front res is fine. The front wheel cylinders were replaced 2 years ago so I don't think they are leaking. Any idea where the fluid is going or why it only leaks while stored?

It's leaking out the back of the master cylinder and into the brake booster.

Thanks John. Can it seep out of the booster over time? Would a gasket change stop it?

unbolt and pull the master cylinder away from the booster. If there is fluid behind it, you need to change the master cylinder.
