Medina, a 1971 T-code Monaco

Skip the bumble bee stripe. When I saw and drove Medina in 2018 the stripe looked out of place.
Now wearing it original livery, her 440 speaks volumes-- she dont need no stripe! Lol!
She got class and can haul ***!!
Fear not. She’s gonna stay the way she was made. No stripe, not a chance.

Guess who's coming to Carlisle this year?

To begin Medina's maintenance schedule an oil change w/ Penn Grade 15w40 an a Wix Oil filter was done. A front suspension inspection no worn parts so a quick lube of all zerk fittings brought this phase to a close

Next a over due tune up was performed w New Champion spark plugs, replacement of the points and condenser w High quality Standard Motor products, Wix fuel and air filters. As per the usual only small adjustments were needed.

Found on a test drive there was intermittent high speed blower operation. I found by buying a new Yorker / 300 Bower switch operation can be restored at 1/3 of the price of a over the counter replacement. Contact replacement required drilling out the small rivets and swap out the blade connectors w/ the OEM wire harness and terminal found on the old switch.

@ayilar Superb paint finish had some buffing wheel marks and some paint overspray on some trim pieces. With the help of some Meguiar's Ultimate Polish and Griot's Best of Show Wax. A great finish is now show worthy. I also restored the shadowing of the Dodge call out letters and the Monaco model script. The photos speak for themselves.

The switch that @david hill bought is P/N 3502681 (350 2681) whereas the switch for the Monaco is P/N 3502679 (350 2679). AFAIK, the front panel's appearance is almost the same on both -- but not exactly so, which is why David made the panel swap to preserve the OEM appearance. Thank you David!

Here is the last of the call out model emblems restoration. Cleaned and restored shadowing. Spending more time on the double face tape really made the trunk model call out very crisp and clean.

I will probably bring Regina too. Just took her on a one-hour « preflight » drive and she did great — impressively so in stop and go traffic with 95F weather and high humidity. Replacing with an NOS 22’ radiator was a great move — temps stayed really good

After I parked her, the power windows stopped working. All of them, passenger switch too.

Help request: after talking with @71Polara383 two candidates for solution include a fuse and a relay —> I should be able to find the former, but could someone bring a relay just in case?
