Yup that site is full of I do'ers not I wishers.

BTW do you follow MP&C what's in the shop over at Metalmeet. I love the work being done on the 57.

I'm not on Metalmeet, no. Is it much defferent from ams? Do you have a link to the 57?

They were all from the same website, metalshapers.com Then sometime in 2003 there was a split. Metalmeet looks slower but they don't require the introduction to join unlike AMS. It's a bit cozier than AMS lots of good shapers on each.


The 57 starts somewhere about page 20. There's 84 pages and growing. It's an encyclopedia on how to make/customize/shape/fit panels.

That's indeed some nice work on the 57, but all this is beyond everything possible for a "normal guy". All the shop and tools they have... Nothing one would normally own.

Nah there's plenty of stuff these guys do that's by hand. The guy that goes by mindrover on both sites believes one must learn how to do it by hand before one moves on to power tools.
