Owned 2 62 Plymouths in the day 66 coronet that I traded for a new 69 roadrunner and in 1970 traded the roadrunner for a 6 pack superbee. Boy I wish I had those cars back. Presantly I'm the proud owner of a 67 Chrysler new Yorker. Rust free with 65thousand original miles 4door hardtop. I am very excited to be a part of the mopar community. Atlas

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Thanks to all. Not sure how to add pictures. I'm not the greatest with computors. I purchased the car about 15 years ago in southern iowa it still had the certa card in the radiator support. Shortly after I purchased it I sold it to a dear friend who passed away a few years later and the car was rolled into a garage and left. About 4 years ago I bought it back, couldn't stand to see it just setting. I have since given her new exhaust tires wheels and a fresh coat of dafadil yellow base coat clear coat with a new distributor, intake and carb although I don't like the 750 edelbrock carb.

When you use the quick reply window you will see an icon along the task bar that looks like a tree in a square. Click on that and follow the prompts to add a pic. I'd be interested in knowing what kind of issues you've had with the eddy carb.

Just switched out the edelbrock 750 carb for the new 625 street Demon. The eddy seemed sluggish. This new Demon is very responsive and the engine seems to love it. Hooking up up the throttle linkage was a pain but worth it. I'll let everyone know if any problems arise.

Had to add to the existing mopar bracket to raise and move the cable to the right to get past the carb linkage then readjust the kickdown linkage. Small piece of steel bent with two 1/4 inch holes and a cable clamp.005.jpg006.jpg

You mounted the bracket wrong. And I'm nervous about that sharp bend in the cable. For several valid reasons.
