Both were 69 so i dont understand the differences. Was there a deluxe model?

As @Ross Wooldridge said the red one was probably a build date of Jan 1, 1969 or later. The cornering lights were an option.

Yes there are more in various forms, but my understanding is there were only two Boss Hoss built. The article also shows the Millyard.
