I went to the Mopars at the Slope show on Saturday, put on by some brothers at the family farm. We park out in the front lawn, and have a good old time. Burnouts, drag racing, some grilling, and the usual crap that happens when like minded folks get together. We had some GM cars show up, but they brought Mopars too, those cars are posted over in the Redeye Widebody thread. I'll post th old iron here.

We also had six trucks there. You can see the grilles of five of them behind this Challenger.

All together we had 39 cars/trucks there, not a bad turnout. The Metric boys came to play, and left big patches of rubber on their way out. One of the GM's ran against the Challenger above (they were brothers) and it was a good race, sadly the Chally had wheel spin and lost.

And there was plenty of muscle with the old cars. The green Dart, the black 66/7 Coronet and the red Barracuda had some healthy powerplants. Two 440+6 Plymouths, the old Plymouth, a classic paint job from 1975, and the Spirit R/T made for a nice variety of cars, which always happens at the Slope. Look forward to next year's event!

That's so cool how people can have this on private land and everyone respects other people and the property. I would love to do this myself, we have 3 acre's on a busy road. There would be alot of rubbernecking!! Thanks for posting

You're welcome to make the trip, only a couple hours for you.

I heard of it on this site before but I didn't know where it was. We had a show in our town on Sunday but it did not have that many mopars.

Thanks for posting @LocuMob . That GY9 Challenger in the first set of photos is a great advertisement for that oft-maligned paint color. Here is another, similar car, with nicer wheels at the 2012 Midwest Mopars Show in Farmington, MN:

Again thanks for posting your pics. It's nice see another Imperial around.
You can plan ahead for next years show, it's always held the second Saturday in August. Wish I would have remembered you live nearby, you could have shown up in either Mopar!
