Anyone have an LS6 Chevelle or L88 Vette laying around? I've got a 493 RB and 727 that needs a new home. Should have kept my Diesel Dodge 4x4. L88 would look cool rolling coal...

think oil pan vs cross member. @Stephan_oldtimerfun has a fury that someone had put a soviet diesel with m/t into so how hard could this be?

A guy I follow here in upper MI on You Tube put a LS with a turbo in an A-body had to modify the K member and used a front sump pan. It can be done but it's not as easy as a GM swap.

At this time I'm looking at cutting the k member and having a gm truck k member welded into the stub frame

I hope you have fabrication skills and show us your creation. If you are talented I think it's great to see you do this esp for the curmudgeons on here. They don't like me either so we are good.

What the old people don't understand that it still takes too much money, time and creativity to install a modern mopar hemi in an old mopar wheras the GM stuff drops right into so many vehicles with any rocket science and you still have money for beer. There is a recipe for the GM stuff so you can order a box from Summit or Jeggs and install your LS whatever in no amount of time

out of curiosity i looked in jegs to see if they had an oil pan that would clear the steering linkage. didn't see one, but maybe i missed it. dry sump maybe?

just looked at it. seeing it for the first time. can't say it won't work, but the steering linkage will be directly under the sump. hey, good luck, i hope it works for you.
