Man that stinks, I hate it we people aren't careful and take pride in their work, no matter what they do.

I almost refused delivery. It's all cosmetic, so if bendpak goes after the shipper and they won't return me some money, then bendpak can just pick this one up and bring me a new one. It's freaking huge and heavy! The two rolling jacks didn't have torn up boxing so they should be okay. Only downside now is we are going to build a new house and shop next Spring so there is no point putting it together now only to tear it back down. So now it just takes up a **** load of floor space.

That really sucks, and its always something that's a real pain to have to send back...is any of it bent or is it just paint damage? If it were me, I'd probably just paint it, unless you can get away with returning it without any leg work on your end. Definitely get some refund.

You didnt give one reason to accept delivery

Nothing is bent, that's why I accepted delivery. It's a huge pain in the *** having this crap delivered. I have to get a forklift out to our place, not to mention the weeks it takes to get the damn thing. It's cosmetic, and yes it's all written on the delivery invoice. What's stupid is the driver said the guys did it loading it at the dock onto his truck. So why not just start reversing things there? LOL. I can live with scratches, in fact I'd take scratches and money back over returning it.

I hope you noted damage on the bill of lading........... Then they can file a claim and ether credit you a refund for paint, or bring you some new parts.

Yup, the driver took photos and wrote the damage on the invoice. I took photos as well while it was on the truck. Northern tool was really easy to work with over the phone so far, they apologized more times than I could count. Should know more in a week.

Demand satisfaction since they are accommodating anyway and spend the money on Mopar stuff or help getting it installed :)

Since you have it put it up and use it like BBD Dave said .. then you'll be happy with it until the new garage is built instead of frustrated it's in your way.

either way .. I'm envious :)

That does stink. At least it is not bent. You will get some back from the shipper if you stay on them. Just don't touch it until your happy. If there is anything missing or problems with the lift, Bendpak is pretty good about taking care of it. Even though you are moving in a year or so, you can still put it together. It comes apart pretty easy. If your moving a short distance, you can load it on a car trailer and sneak it to the next place. You do not have to bolt it into the concrete floor, if you chose not. Safer bolted of course.

I would put it up every minute without one is hell
Bingo.
Jeezes, it's not an goddam trophy. That BendPak can take abuse better than any other lift out there.
And their customer service rep is thinking "WTF? And I get this guy worried about his paint?"
Come on over and look at mine.

That's bad :/ Looks like my hoist when I got it... It was all cosmetic and they offered me a 40% refund. I can live with that ;)

Good luck with your refund!

Thats what I want, money back. I'm ready to put this sucker to use!
