Got lucky they could have got him with a lot worse. I believe they do get to felony level with their speeding laws. I think another 2mph would have triggered that. VA has these laws because of the stupid MD and DC drivers who don't know a speed limit they don't ignore. He was warned and did it anyway.. Meh.

I have Meh's for serious life changing/ending events too. I choose not to post that info here as to not be called insensitive.
Ok just a few.. Mr Tango's 'splodey belt goes off before he reaches intended target... Meh.
Mr Tango is building his 'splodey belt and some other forces come in and wipe him and his family off the map, Meh.

3 weeks ago, my cousin, who I loved like a sister, AND my closest friend from work who had my back many times, BOTH called me to tell me they had 6 months to live.

1 he is a dumbass for going 93 in a 55 rural road.
2 making him sit in jail is a stupid waste of manpower pick up trash for 72 hours over a month and a half's time in shitty areas.
3 this is why judges need audited.
4 cop needs laid off if that's the only thing he has to do, exception to that statement is if it is a area that has a speeding problem.

Va. should spend more time teaching people how to drive, instead of just giving a license to anyone that can fog up a mirror. I could go on and on about the piss-poor drivers in Va., but I'll leave it at that, for now.
And for anyone that is going to have the misfortune to have to drive through Va., they have lots of unmarked cop cars.

I got a letter the other day from Maryland. In it was a pic of my wife's Ford Edge and a ticket for 70 in a 55. $40.
My wife and stepson went to Maryland last month. He was driving and went through a photo radar trap.

It's Not Going to Shift Itself
While she was "flying" down the road yesterday, a woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait. The cop pulled her over, walked up to the car, with that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love, asked, "What's your hurry?"
To which she replied, "I'm late for work."
Oh yeah," said the cop, "what do you do?"
I'm a rectum stretcher," she responded.
The cop stammered, "A what? A rectum stretcher? And just what does a rectum stretcher do?"
"Well," she said, "I start by inserting one finger, then work my way up to two fingers, then three, then four, then with my whole hand in. I work from side to side until I can get both hands in, and then I slowly but surely stretch it, until it's about 6 feet wide."
"And just what the hell do you do with a 6 foot ******* ? " he asked.
"You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge..."

That sucks,hope your kin and bud can live life for what`s left,my dad went in on Jan 2`nd last year for phnomia and was told he had the big C , two weeks later he was gone. No Meh here either.

Got stopped in VA about 2yrs ago near the bay bridge. Got a speeding ticket.....hired a local lawyer for $500 bucks and beat the ticket. No jail time. Didn't even have to appear in court, lawyer handled everything..no points eithet. I will go out of my way to avoid that area (rt.13). Nothing but a huge money trap.
