What do you guys think of my new to me 2002 John Deere 1445 tractor. TractorData.com John Deere 1445 tractor information I won it in an auction down in Pennsylvania and also picked up the snowblower down there at a separate dealer. It has a 31 hp Yanmar diesel, 4wd and a heated glass Cozy cab.Low hours and in not too rusty decent shape. It will be so much more comfortable moving snow this winter. I also picked a brand new rear discharge mower deck for it locally. It remains to be seen how hot the cab will be mowing this summer.I have about $8500 in the whole package including brand new tires for it.Almost makes me wish for snow(not really):realcrazy:

Let us know how that works. I bet it looks like a micro combine with the snow blower on it. ;^)

A/C might be a plus.

Rear mower decks are horrible if you have trees to cut around.
My 310 works well but like you said, they don't go around trees well. I think that's why Deere designed the 4 wheel steer models. I have come to the conclusion that the center of the deck is not in the same place as the center of the turning radius of the tractor.
