Hello, All:
Recently joined the forum after buying my dad’s high school car. a 1960 Phoenix. My great-grandma bought it in Kansas in 1960 and drove straight out to Long Beach, CA shortly after. She moved up to Spokane, WA with my grandparents and my dad where they lived for decades. My aunt and dad shared the car in high school, then it was sold when my dad left for the Marine Corps.
Flash forward 20 years and that very car pops up in a junkyard in Nine Mile Falls, WA, mostly complete but in need of serious help. We towed it out and all the way home to Tacoma, WA and have lovingly restored it since 2002. Last week I had the opportunity to take it on and now my kids are the 5th generation on those original backseats.
