Thank you Stan. Lots more little things to do. Got slowed down last month with pneumonia. My done date was projected for August 1st. I'm thinking Christmas at this rate. :)

Looking really good. Of course I am really partial to the body style. :icon_thumright:

Beautiful! Did you have the grill redone or was your original still nice?

Funny you should ask. The grill didn't need any thing but a few touch ups with black paint and a buffing. To bad I can't say that about the rest of the car. :)

Really nice work, that car will be stunning! Already is!!!

Good to hear, I have a few pits on mine and am contemplating purchasing new old stock headlight surrounds, but I haven't located the center portion of the grill yet. And my taillights are horrible.

Good luck finding taillights. I've been looking for over a year. I thought I bought one but when we opened the box up last month it was for a polara not a Monaco. If you find any, all I really need is the passenger side bezel. I'll let ya know if I find the grill.

Lucky for me, mine is a polara so I can find the taillights.....I just have to find the courage to spend that much on a NOS set.

Newest pics. She is now setting on her own legs (tires). Insulation pad installed. Wiper motor in place. (Thanks to Jason who got to sit in her cavernous space.) New steering wheel fits. More pics as we progress. Frustrations: Guy at shop that tore her down, no longer works there and he didn't mark anything nor did he take pics. Steering wheel has a lot of play in it and I'm sure something goes in there to make it more secure (research project). It's hotter than hell in that shop. No pics of how the firewall should look and where anything goes. (See above about guy that no longer works there.) My two week vacation has been spent working on the car vs going to Ireland. (Thank you so much pneumonia) My fingernails look like that guy that pumped gas back in the 70's. (No offense if you did that for a living...honorable to say the least) Still looking for tail light and quarter panel trim. Guy who was supposed to restore upholster and has had my upholstery for over a year has not even started it. Ohh, and he keeps rescheduling coming to the shop to put the vinyl top on and headliner. (Hmmppfff)
Blessings: Steering wheel fit, hood insulation fit, almost all the nuts, bolts and misc. parts have been media blasted (thanks hubby...sorry about the pneumonia and having to cancel vacation), painted said above parts as well as various parts of my anatomy (head out of the gutter...talking exposed parts...like hands, face, somehow an ear), transmission rebuilt (ready tomorrow), mc/dual chamber came in today, new break lines came in, almost all the stuff that needed to be chromed is done, meeting new people and there cars at the shop, making a forever friend with Ray the shop owner (he had the first Harley shop in the Philippines a long time ago) discovering how much my husband must truly love me cuz he's putting up with all this, meeting all you guys on here....many, many more blessings but I won't bore ya'll. Can't wait to show how we progress. Quote for the day: If it doesn't kill you it'll make ya stronger.20130730_150431.jpg20130730_152434.jpg20130730_152453.jpg20130730_170048.jpg
