*NM* Anyone looking for a water pump for an A/C car?

Not mine. Cast iron pump with the 6 bladed impeller for cars with air conditioning. Could be worth picking up since they seem to be getting harder to find than the 8 bladed non A/C ones.

I thought it was the other way around. Guess I was mistaken.

I thought the small bearing units were the non airconditioning pumps? This one looks like a non AC pump to me.

Non AC pumps have 8 vanes and a slightly larger diameter. A/C have 6. I know it sounds strange, but that's the way it is. Smaller number, and diameter with bigger paddles. It moves the water better, but doesn't cause hydraulic hammering or eroding of the pump housing. This comes up all the time, but I assure you, the six vane pump is for A/C cars.
