ATC. I'd like to know what the box below the steering column is for. Hopefully it is a trailer brake controller and not a turn signal switch box installed because the turn signal switch in the column doesn't work. A very nice wagon but I think the price is optimistic.

'70s vintage brake controller. He must've been hauling pretty big trailer to use one like that.

If I were selling it, that thing wouldn't even be hanging there. Especially at this price point.

A lot of folks, including me, get a little wary about a vehicle that was towing a big trailer.... which this car must've been. That hitch is pretty heavy duty also.

A shame all wagons seemed to have just vinyl interiors though i,ve seen formal wagons get the full leather do over from parts cars.Which is the coolest wagon along with the Olds 98 wagon interceptor.heh.My neighbor back in the 70,s had a 74 olds wagon and i swear that was the biggest car i ever saw outside of a limo.It was gargantuan.B.B

Agree, fair deal.

I don't believe that anything other than vinyl was offered most years on wagons in the slab and fuselage era C Body Wagons. They tended to get built with Vinyl because wagons tended to get heavy use.

Stupid marketing. When you put the BIN at $18k it kills bidders. I know if I was in the market I wouldn't have even bid, and it was a bid in the last minute that got it over the reserve. IMHO $10.5k is about right for this car.

Man, what a nice wagon. Sale price was reasonable. I have parted two of these out over the years for the drive trains. Both were the same color. One with the woodgrain also and one without.

Too bad a dealer got it. Gorgeous car.

Yea and surprising that the seller has 100% feedback with a neg like this.

"Engine Blew Up after 17 miles, windows don't fit properly - VERY DISSATISFIED
Chevrolet : Chevelle SS 454 (#251131582833) US $56,000.00"

Nice looking car! These cars made great trailer haulers. Long wheelbase, good suspension and steering as well as ample brakes. Seen many an Airstream being hauled in the old days of the "Airstream Caravans"
At $10,500 that was a deal. Except here in Canada thats $13,000. Still a deal compared to 1971 vintage pickup trucks in today's market. So much nicer to drive than a 71 truck also.
