Another 73 wagon that is local to me here in Maryland $7500
1973 Chrysler Town and Country 6 passenger station wagon. This is the big Chrysler wagon on the C Body platform. This one is equipped with a 440 V8 and the A727 Torqueflite transmission. New carburetor is a Holley Street Demon (4 barrel). Front suspension is solid, and rear springs were just re-arched with an eighth leaf added for a firmer ride. Body is solid, with some rust work needed on the quarter panels. Floor and spare tire well are likewise solid, with a little work needed here and there. Car was ordered with the woodgrain delete option -- it is the only Town and Country from that era I have ever seen without the fake wood. All exterior trim including both fender skirts are with the car. Interior is solid with a new headliner. Both dome lights are NOS and both are wired to the door switches. (As built, only the front one does, with the rear one working off the switch). Power steering and Power brakes work fine. Power windows work great although the motor is pretty weak on the right front one. Power seats work. Cruise control works. Power locks and power antenna are present, but have issues, although the power antenna is not needed with the new stereo in the car. Car is equipped with trailer hitch receiver, and pulls a trailer like a champ.
We bought the car during the summer of 2017 and began work getting her into daily driver condition. She passed Maryland's rigorous state inspection in 12/2017 and was tagged a passenger car (not Historic). We continued to make repairs with an eye toward getting her ready for a paint job. Then, unexpectedly, we ended up with a 1974 Dodge Sportsman van on our hands, and decided to focus on that vehicle and put the T&C up for sale. We hate to do it -- but three vintage Mopars is all that will fit in our driveway.
Car is located in northern Baltimore City near Homeland and Roland Park.
