This has been on my radar since it was first posted as it was close to where I used to live. The asking price was waaay too high for this thing, looks like they've finally dropped it to a reasonable-ish number.
"400 2bbl putting out 175hp"...yeesh.
The car looks pretty clean, it is a Mass. car so the undersides gonna need a good inspection.

remember that the 175 hp rating is net, not gross like they used before 71/72 so dont be comparing that net rating to a 300+ rating used in earlier cars. look at the gross and net hp ratings from 71........

Yeah, the ‘70 383 2bbl was rated around 275 hp. Our ‘72 400 2bbl was rated at 190 hp but ran just as well in a Newport Custom. Then they were smogged down even more by ‘76.
