I have a 80s Rochester Quadrajet on my 73 Fury and it came from a 318 Dodge or Plymouth police car. It has a unique feature that makes it unusable without a module that converts ignition dwell to a signal (voltage) that sets the fuel rods' depth in the jets for drivability. This is one of the last carbs before the changover to throttle body fuel injection.
I need infor on what type of ECM these carbs came with to control the carb. Later carbs had a throttle position sensor and the aforementioned metering rod solenoid... this one has only the metering rod solenoid. Anyone have any ideas? I have a 88 service manual for RWD cars and it shows a lean burn setup. This one if not quite that new.
Thanks
Randy
