I bust it out at work all week. I had to work the weekend. So, today, I took it easy and watched Mopar videos on YouTube.

My favorite by far

What's up with the hood?

4 speed 68 Sport Fury

That Cuda running 9.5a is awfully quick for naturally aspirated no nitrous. I wonder what he has the weight down to.

As I recall, that E-body has a special engine under the hood. Makes more power than anybody would ever suspect. It can run faster than it does, plus the guy knows how to drive it for best results. Seems like he ran two brackets with it and won both?

What does a aluminum hemi block cost? 10 to 1 on pump gas no less.

He said 700HP range. 570ish CID (can't recall exactly) and all aluminum. He said the hemi piston made the difference. I'm guessing that all aluminum engine cut the weight quite a bit?

I think he did win both brackets. He was joking about running in 11 if he started in third gear.

In the video the guy said it’s an all aluminum 528 hemi, somewhere in the 700hp range, but even that doesn’t seem hot enough to push an e-body into the mid 9s

Well that settles it. I am not rebuilding my cast iron heads on my 440 and go aluminum 10 to 1 on my stroker 440.

With an aluminum block 528 hemi it also must be a stroker too ?
